About the Program
Holiday Shops are a wonderful learning experience where kids get to experience the Joy of Giving — picking out real gifts for the people they love.
We carry the highest quality items at the lowest retail prices for your families — without shrinking your profit percentage. Featured brands include Ty, Disney, and dozens more — items kids genuinely want.
Most items priced $0.50–$15, with bestselling Ty plush, Disney character items, family keepsakes, and stocking-stuffer favorites — so every child can shop within their budget and bring home a gift for everyone on their list.
What Sets Our Gingerbread Holiday Shoppe Apart
Five reasons Florida schools choose our Holiday Shoppe over the competition.
$1,000 Signing Bonus
Reserve your spot and use the bonus however helps most — gifts, profit, prizes, events. No strings.
30% Flat Profit — No Tiers
A guaranteed 30% on every item sold. Not “up to 30%.” Not based on volume. Just 30%, flat.
Lowest Student Retails
Most items $0.50–$15, so every child can shop for their whole list — and parents don’t dread the price tags.
Brand-Name Merchandise
Ty, Disney, and dozens of recognizable brands kids actually want — not generic dollar-store filler.
Florida-Based Local Support
Your rep is local. Setup help, restocks, and answers come from someone who knows Florida schools.
$1,000 Signing Bonus — You Choose How To Use It
Schools that secure their Holiday Shoppe spot with TB&D get a $1,000 bonus to direct however helps most: student gifts, teacher gifts, extra profit, special events, prizes, or anything else your group needs.
Why 30% Flat Beats “Up To 30%”
Yes, competitors claim “up to 30%” too. Here’s the catch: they achieve it by increasing student retails, which means your school makes the same profit on fewer sales. We deliver 30% on lower prices — no retail games, no hidden tiers. Here’s the side-by-side:
| TB&D Gingerbread Holiday Shoppe | Typical Competitors | |
|---|---|---|
| Profit Percentage | 30% guaranteed on every item | “Up to 30%” — actual rate varies |
| Profit Structure | Flat — no tiers, no thresholds | Tiered — top % only at high volume |
| Student Retail Pricing | Lowest in the industry (most items $0.50–$15) | Inflated to fund their “30%” |
| Signing Bonus | $1,000 — your choice how to use it | None |
| Brand-Name Merchandise | Ty, Disney, and dozens more | Mostly generic / private-label |
| Florida-Based Support | Local rep, hands-on setup | Out-of-state call center |
| Profit on Unsold Items | Zero risk — unsold returns at no cost | Restocking fees often apply |

Holiday Shoppe Questions, Answered
Tap any question to expand the answer.
How long does the Holiday Shoppe run at our school?
Most schools run the Shoppe for 3–5 school days during the first or second week of December. We work around your schedule — schools that want every grade to shop typically schedule a full week, while smaller schools wrap up in 3 days.
How much space do we need to host it?
A cafeteria, media center, or large multipurpose room works perfectly. We bring everything — display tables, signage, inventory, and decor — and set it up. You provide the space and a couple of outlets.
How many parent volunteers are required?
Plan on 4–6 volunteers per shopping shift to help students choose, count money, and wrap purchases. Many schools rotate parents class-by-class, so the same volunteers aren’t on the whole week.
What price range are the items?
Most items are priced between $0.50 and $15, with the majority falling in the $1–$8 range. That means a child with $10–$20 can comfortably shop for parents, siblings, grandparents, and a teacher — no one walks away empty-handed.
What happens to inventory we don’t sell?
Unsold inventory goes back to us at no cost — zero risk to your school. You only pay for what your families actually buy.
Do parents need to be present, or do kids shop alone?
Both options work. Most schools have students shop during the school day with volunteer help — kids love the independence of picking out gifts on their own. Some schools also host a family evening so parents can shop alongside their child.
Is there a minimum school size to qualify?
There’s no hard minimum — we’ve run successful Shoppes at schools of 150 students and at schools of 1,200+. Smaller schools typically run a shorter event, and the $1,000 signing bonus and flat 30% profit apply regardless of size.
When should we book for the 2026 holiday season?
Most Florida schools book by September for November–December events, and prime dates fill on a first-come basis. With the $1,000 signing bonus active, current spots are filling faster than usual — we recommend reserving as soon as your PTA approves the program.
The PTA Holiday Shop Fundraiser, Done Right
A great elementary school holiday gift shop isn’t really about money — at least not for the kids. It’s about the moment a second-grader hands a wrapped present to their grandmother and watches her open it. That’s the experience the Gingerbread Holiday Shoppe is built around. For your PTA, the financials should be straightforward and predictable; for the children, the shopping itself should feel like a real, slightly magical errand.
We’ve spent years refining what makes a school Christmas shop work in practice, not just on paper. The cafeteria gets transformed overnight, the displays are sized so even kindergartners can see what’s on offer, and the price points are organized so a child with a $10 envelope can leave with a gift for everyone on their list — parent, sibling, grandparent, teacher, and the family dog included. That’s not an accident. It’s what separates a meaningful in-school holiday store from a forgettable one.
Why Florida PTAs Choose the Gingerbread Shoppe Over a Generic Santa Shop Fundraiser
If you’ve run a Santa shop fundraiser before, you already know the friction points: inventory that doesn’t match what kids actually want, retail prices that have crept up year over year, and “up to 30%” profit promises that quietly turn into 18% once the dust settles. We built the Gingerbread Holiday Shoppe specifically to remove those frustrations. The 30% profit is flat — not “up to,” not tiered by volume, not contingent on hitting a sales target. Whether you sell $2,000 or $20,000 worth of gifts, your school keeps 30% of every dollar.
Our merchandise mix is also worth a closer look. Brand-name items like Ty plush and Disney character merchandise sit alongside thoughtful keepsakes, ornaments, kitchen gifts, and the small inexpensive treasures that kids reach for first. Because we don’t inflate retails to fund the profit promise, your families pay less, more kids participate, and your overall school holiday gift program ends up generating more revenue — not less — despite the lower price tags. That’s the part competitors don’t advertise.
What the $1,000 Signing Bonus Actually Buys You
Most fundraising companies bundle “incentives” you didn’t ask for — branded swag, prize catalogs nobody uses, restrictive credits. The TB&D signing bonus is intentionally unrestricted. Some PTAs apply it directly to additional profit. Others fund a teacher-appreciation breakfast, buy a class set of books, sponsor a holiday family in need, or stock the staff lounge for the season. We’ve even had schools use it to pre-fund shopping envelopes for students whose families couldn’t contribute. The point is: it’s $1,000 in your school’s pocket the moment you sign, to be used wherever it actually moves the needle.
Pairing the Holiday Shoppe With Other Fundraisers
For PTAs running a full fundraising calendar, the Holiday Shoppe fits neatly between fall and spring campaigns. A common pairing: a high-profit November event like our school-led 100% profit DIY Thon, followed by the Holiday Shoppe in December for the giving experience, then a spring fun-run. If you’d like help mapping out the right calendar, members of the TB&D Fundraising Collective get tailored recommendations and priority access to bonus offers like this one. The Gingerbread Holiday Shoppe is trusted by elementary schools across Florida — from Tampa Bay and Manatee County to Sarasota, the Treasure Coast, and beyond. Local representation means your setup, restocks, and questions are handled by someone who knows your district’s calendar and pace.
