Ambassador for Music Programs
35 years building Florida’s strongest band programs. Now helping yours.
After more than 35 years leading music programs across Southwest Florida, Mark Dahlberg has joined Three Boys & A Dog as our Ambassador for Music Programs.
His career spans three schools, thousands of students, and a fundraising record that few music educators in Florida have ever matched. He’s not here to pitch a product. He’s here to share what he knows — with the music directors who can use it.

A Career Built in Florida Classrooms
Mark served as Music Department Head at three of Southwest Florida’s most prominent schools:
- Cypress Lake High School
- Fort Myers High School
- Diplomat Middle School
During that time, he served eight years as a Florida Bandmasters Association District Chair — one of the longest tenures in Lee County history.
In 2017, Mark led the Fort Myers High School Marching Band to the London New Year’s Day Parade — an international stage he earned not through school district funding, but through a grassroots fundraising campaign he built himself.

Recognition
- Yale Distinguished Music Educator Award — 2007
- Lee County Music Teacher of the Year — 2006
- Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching — 2005
- Lee County Legend’s Award — 2026
- FBA District Chairperson — 8 consecutive years
The Fundraising Record

Year over year, Mark’s programs consistently raised $100,000 or more annually — through disciplined planning, creative campaigns, and an ability to energize students, parents, and the broader community.
His most remarkable achievement came in 2016–17, when he raised $1.5 million in six months through an unprecedented community-wide effort: personal donations, car washes, Cow Patty Bingo, Greenwave Palooza (a local funk band concert), Car Shows, and a World’s Finest Chocolate campaign that mobilized the entire school community.
That campaign funded the Fort Myers High School Marching Band’s trip to the London New Year’s Day Parade — an international stage most Florida programs only dream about.

His Role at TB&D Fundraising Collective

As TB&D’s Ambassador of Music Programs, Mark works directly with band directors across Florida to:
- Advise on fundraising strategy and campaign planning
- Serve as a guest clinician for rehearsals, sectionals, and marching shows
- Help directors plan field trips and major events — cutting out the middleman and the markup
His involvement is part of the TB&D Fundraising Collective’s commitment to being more than a vendor — a genuine partner in building strong, sustainable school music programs across Florida.
In Mark’s Words

Great music educators surround themselves with colleagues who listen, observe, and help guide their ensembles. We grow tremendously by learning from those who have demonstrated real, lasting success. I’d like to offer that same support to you. In the world of music program fundraising, I’ve earned the reputation as the “King of Fundraising,” and I’m eager to share the strategies that have fueled my success so you can elevate yours.
