What is the StepUp platform, exactly? ▾
StepUp is your school’s own branded donation website — built and hosted by us. Families donate online (any amount, any time), you track progress on a live dashboard, and 100% of donations transfer to your school’s account. It’s not a pledge tracker or a student login portal; it’s the donation site itself.
How long until our donation site is live? ▾
Most schools go live within one business day of reserving their slot and providing their basic info (school name, colors, goal, event date). You can start sharing the link with families immediately.
How far in advance do we need to reserve? ▾
We recommend reserving at least 6–8 weeks before your event date so you have time to brand the site, set up prizes, and run your kickoff. That said, slots fill fastest in late summer for fall events and early winter for spring events.
Is there a catch with “100% profit”? ▾
No revenue split, no platform fee, no per-event fee. TB&D Collective membership is required to access the program. Standard payment-processing fees on card donations apply (typical for any online fundraiser — you can choose to pass these to the donor or absorb them).
DIY vs Concierge — how do I pick? ▾
If you have volunteer capacity and want to keep 100% of funds: DIY. If your PTO is small or you want us to run the event day for you: Concierge (school keeps up to 80%). Still unsure? Ask us and we’ll recommend.
