Today is my first day back to work full-time in 3 years. It is also the first time I have had to get in my car and drive to work in 6 years because I worked from home for 3 years. So I want to make sure that I stay on top of menu planning otherwise our evenings will eventually turn into total chaos. I went ahead and planned the next two weeks of menus because that is how I often I will be going grocery shopping and I think it will be easier for me to do it this way.
On Monday nights I have class and so my husband is in charge of dinner.
Monday-Mac n cheese and hot dogs
Tuesday-Tacos
Wednesday-Chicken Pot Pie
Thursday-Grilled cheese and soup
Friday-Salmon and mashed potatoes
Saturday-Pizza
Sunday-Easter dinner at my mother-in-law's
Monday-Mac n cheese and hot dogs
Tuesday-Sausage skillet
Wednesday-Pepperoni Pizza Pie
Thursday-Taco soup
Friday- breakfast for dinner
I am trying to keep the menu pretty simple at first and then as we tweak our routine we can move up to some better dinner options. It will be interesting to see how our family adjusts to our new situation.
