2010 Goals

I thought it would be a great idea to revisit my goals for 2010 and see how I am doing so far.

My goals for our home....

Be more consistent in my cleaning routine- Not doing too well
Be more consistent in my menu planning- I am doing better
Work on home improvement projects- This will kick into gear more now that it is Spring
decluttering- need to work on
finish boy's room remodel- Accomplished! Yeah! The boys are in their room.
paint kitchen cabinets- Spring or summer project
redo laundry space- spring project
paint our bedroom- spring project
gravel driveway- spring project
landscape yard- spring project
finish garage- We are hiring this out
remodel another bedroom upstairs- fall project

Financial goals....

Finish Dave Ramsey program- Need to do
Work a budget- Need to do
Save for a car- Working on
Pay off credit cards- need to do
Save for major remodels- need to do

Family goals

Be consistent in date night with hubby- biweekly- We have been going out quite a bit as a couple so far this year.
Be consistent in child rearing- need to work on
Have a once a month family outing- We are doing good so far.

Personal goals

Be consistent in my devotional time- Need to work on
Finish medical transcription certificate and billing/coding certificate- Transcription certificate will be done in May and Billing/coding will be done in the fall.
Find a part-time job that doesn't conflict with out family time- Done. Except it is full-time.
Blog 3 times a week- January I accomplished this goal but did not in February. I will be a post or two shy in March but I am getting better.
Work on older son's scrapbook (he is graduating in May)- I really need to work on this one. Yikes!

So, I have accomplished a few of my goals. Some of them we will be working on now that it is Spring and some I really need to kick it into gear on.

Goals are wonderful, especially when you look back at them. You are doing great!!!

I am still working on it...but the home projects got a jumpstart yesterday as I peeled that nasty wallpaper. lol
