My hubby and I sat down today and went over our goals for 2010. Our goals are both similar and at the same time some are vastly different. We went through and merged them together to come up with our family goals for this year.
I am going to list my goals here along with some of our joint household goals.
My goals for our home....
- Be more consistent in my cleaning routine
- Be more consistent in my menu planning
- Work on home improvement projects
- decluttering
- finish boy's room remodel
- paint kitchen cabinets
- redo laundry space
- paint our bedroom
- gravel driveway
- landscape yard
- finish garage
- remodel another bedroom upstairs
Financial goals....
- Finish Dave Ramsey program
- Work a budget
- Save for a car
- Pay off credit cards
- Save for major remodels
Family goals
- Be consistent in date night with hubby- biweekly
- Be consistent in child rearing
- Have a once a month family outing
Personal goals
- Be consistent in my devotional time
- Finish medical transcription certificate and billing/coding certificate
- Find a part-time job that doesn't conflict with out family time
- Blog 3 times a week
- Work on older son's scrapbook (he is graduating in May).

I think these are perfect. Setting goals is so much better than resolutions...goals are easier to attain to me at least.
