It was a lot of fun but a pretty long day. Our son does not have his license so my husband was the chauffeur for our son and his date. After pictures at 3 pm, we drove to Des Moines for them to go out to eat then came back for "Walk-in". Walk-in is where the entire town sits in the bleachers, the couples walk-in and are introduced and then they head to the dance. After the dance was after prom, for which I volunteered. I did a pretty good job of staying up until 5 am if I do say so myself.
Sadly, I think I may have had more fun at my son's prom than I had at my own.

He had fun. I had more fun at his than I had at mine.
5 am? Oh, you are the Mom Of The Year, for sure. That's a huge accomplishment. I could.not. do that.
