Christmas 2008

I thought I would finally share some of the highlights of our Christmas season. We had four Christmas' this year. Luckily we had one a day, of course, it was for four days but we had time to relax and enjoy each one which really made this holiday season more peaceful.

On Christmas Eve we went to my father-in-law's house. We had breakfast for dinner which was yummy. AD was quite hilarious and kept making the funniest comments and cracking us up.

Here is the first gift he opened.

Then he RAN over to me exclaiming "I LOVE YOU!" and hugging me.

Of course, then I had to explain that Grandpa had bought the Batcave and not me.

Here he is playing with another one of his gifts. He apparently wants to be a Guitar Hero like his mom.

Hubby got a Celtic blanket to go with the quilt rack my father-in-law made me.

C got some more "grown up" toys. He got some movies and a game for his DS. He did not have a DS yet but seemed to believe the story we told him that grandpa went to school with Santa and they must have talked about his Christmas gifts.

C didn't have to worry though, his cousins got plenty of toys that he enjoyed playing with. Here he is playing Pokemon with one of his cousins.

The kids had fun playing with their stuff and fell into bed when we got home making the evening even more enjoyable for mom and dad.
