We do live in Iowa where we grow potatoes corn

Last night for dinner we had BBQ Ribs and cornbread. And not just plain old cornbread, cornbread with corn. This is one of my favorite recipes and I think one of AD's too because he almost matched hubby slice per slice. It is from the Taste Of Home's Fast Fixes with Mixes Cookbook.

Cornbread Casserole

1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can cream-style corn
1 package corn bread/muffin mix
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika

In a large bowl, combine ingredients. Pour into a greased 11x7x2-in baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the top and edges are golden brown. Serves 4-6.

It is so easy and so yummy too.
