Only one more week until school starts for our kids, well two for AD but still. The weather is a bit cooler, still warm but I love the cool breeze in the mornings.
I love fall. It is my favorite season. I love football games, pumpkin patches, anything pumpkin really, bonfires, sweaters, and baking. Oh, how I love to bake.
I am not sure if my excitement is from the kids going back to school or my plans to jumpstart my baking again.
Today I found a great website called the Joy Of Baking. They have a recipe for Snickerdoodles that I plan on making today.

I'm trying to think what I DON'T like about fall. It's my favorite season. The smell of bon fires, the chill in the air, crunchy leaves (don't love raking them s'much), jeans, making pumpkin bars, anticipation of fun holidays coming up.

Wearing jeans and sweatshirts everyday, walks at night when the coolness sets in, school starting, getting ready for holidays and reading on the patio at night.

I'm with you I love the fall. I love sweaters and the leaves and the decorations and the food and the chill in the air, and pumkins. Now you've got me all excited!!!
