I was wrong. Apparently, how attractive my husband is in comparison to me explains whether or not he will help around the house. For example, if I am a plain Jane and he is a hottie or if we are both hotties or both plain, you get it.

I am an Acts of Service girl. That is my love language. I am sure you have all heard of love languages by now, but anyway. I love it when my husband picks up the house, or does the dishes, maybe vacuums, or puts in some laundry. It makes me happy. Deliriously Happy.
According to Redbook, there was a study that showed that husbands that were less attractive than their wives were more supportive than husbands that were equally as attractive or more attractive than their wives.
Well, supportive to me = housework. So, if you are married to someone who is on the same attractiveness level or more attractive than you, I guess we are out of luck. :( Now, I am not saying they won't ever help out. It is just that husbands that are less attractive than us will help out MORE.
They really need to put this information into a packet and distribute it in schools around the nation. The more you know. :)

Oh right - how fascinating - should definitely be published in flyer form for all school kids :) Think that means that I've come out the lucky one here - my hubby does oodles of housework, I know HE thinks I'm more attractive than him - don't think that i agree though...
HA! Here's my question--who is judging the attractiveness of the husband and wife? Because to ME, the more my husband helps around the house, the more attractive he becomes in my eyes. Seems to be some kind of catch-22, doesn't it? :)
My husband does heaps around the house... Thinking about it, we both have particular jobs that the other doesn't do. I love it when he helps...sometimes it's a bit annoying because he makes me feel guilty, but all in all it's a pretty good thing...I know that make him more attractive to me because it makes him who he is.

My husband gave me the ????? look when I asked him if I could pay $100 dollars for a new blog look to, then he asked if I was crazy. So it looks the same as it always has. This post if too funny, maybee i need to try and look good more often. Actually my hubby is a great help around the house so I really can't complain.
And here I thought I was the better looking one out of my husband and I. :)
I have to agree with pjmomof3boys that my hubby gets really attractive in my eyes if he does work around the house. It makes me so happy. I haven't been that happy in a long time.......
