Okay, I managed to change my layout all by myself. Of course, I am still in the process of getting my page elements where I want them to be and adding and deleting things.
I don't think I will keep this forever but I really haven't figured out exactly what I want yet.
I used a template from LeeLou Blogs. I actually tried some other layouts from other places and couldn't get them to work. Hers are so easy to apply.

Your new look is great. I'm constantly changing mine and trying to get it to loo more professional. I'd really like to have it custom made but I don't have an extra $100 lying a around.

I like your new layout. I recently changed my layout too. What a task, loading all those widgets and things all over again. At least I saved all the codes lol.

I love this! I will totally check it out. I'm a LITTLE tired of the polka dots on mine. My youngest sister is supposed to be designing me a header, etc. since she was a design major in college in all, but since she's preggo and her 3-year-old boy is now in a cast from his toes to his thigh, I don't really feel like I can call her and say, "OK, so WHERE's MY FREE HEADER?!" :)
Your blog looks awesome! I love the colors and the background. Way to go! Doesn't it feel awesome to learn something new and then do all that geeky computer stuff and come up with this? :)
