Overall I can't complain about the potty training experience we have had so far with AD.
He decided he wanted to do it and that has made things easier on us. The other thing I find to be quite easy is cleaning up accidents. I really haven't had too.
He has been really good about deciding when he has to go to the bathroom and going in there. When he has an accident he takes off his underwear and puts on a new pair.
Of course, he hasn't left the house and most errands have to be run at night but it is a minor inconvenience.
The only issue we have had has been the poop. (Yes, I said poop and I also used have had has in a sentence.) He hasn't quite gotten this down yet but when he does it (#2) he still goes in the bathroom and takes off his underwear so it hasn't been horrible to clean this up but I would seriously appreciate it if he would get this part down.
I am optimistic. I think if he continues to make the progress that he has been making then in a few days or a week we may be able to take outings together as a family. That would be AWESOME considering the fact that my sister-in-law is getting married soon and we have a two hour drive to get there.
The other reason I am optimistic is because this is the LAST time I have to potty train a child. :) WHOOO HOOO!!!
