Back to school, haircuts and my blogoversary!

Yesterday was the R and C's first day back to school and keeping with my tradition I had to take their picture. Now R he just loves this, it is his favorite part of going back to school. Me, his mom, taking his picture. Actually he dislikes it alot. But this year we got a great picture.



Want to know how I got him to smile? I told him to say "My mom has hairy legs." It works every time. Of course, I don't have hairy legs, at least not today anyway.

Do you like their new haircuts? We went to a fancy barber. No, really I did it. Yep, you know I am trying to be frugal. That and I spent $100.00 on two pairs of tennis shoes. After the sticker shock of that I decided I would try to cut their hair myself. We already own a hair trimmer because my hubby shaves his head. Of course, next time I think I will use the 1/2" guard instead of the 1/4" guard. Besides, it will grow.

This is the first year that he gets his very own desk. He was so excited.

Today is also my blogoversary. I have had this blog for an entire year now. I CAN NOT believe it.

Time has gone by fast. I was looking through my archives and I found it is amazing what you forget in just a year, the things we did or yummy recipes I made.

The other thing I find interesting is that I pretty much did a blog a day. I am right around 365 posts for the year. Unbelievable, if only I was this faithful in my cleaning, I can only imagine what my house would look like.

Well....happy blogoversary to me. Thank you to everybody that reads my blog, I totally appreciate it.
